1-grid ICT Internship 2020
This internship seeks to provide a thriving environment where successful candidates will be able to expand their technical and non-technical skills. Moreover, the incumbent will be part of a team of experienced professionals and gain exposure to key aspects of the business e.g business analysis, idea generation and technical design from development to deployment.
The ICT Intern will gain hands-on experience working with the following:
- Laravel, PHP 5 OOP, Zend Framework, MVC, Yii
- CSS, JQuery, HTML5, Sass
- PHPUnit
- JSON, SOAP, REST
- Mac OS X, Nginx, Ubuntu, Memcache, MySQL, Solr/Elasticsearch
Who should apply?
These are the minimum requirements candidates need to meet in order to get considered eligible for consideration:
- Holds a Computer Science or IT/Software Development qualification or other relevant field of study
- Knowledge in PHP Frameworks e.g. Yii, Zend, CodeIgniter or Symfony is a plus
- Knows PHP Debugging, MySQL (ZendDebugger, XDebug)
- Knows Git/SVN and IDEs e.g. Eclipse PDT, Netbeans, Zend Studios, etc.
