  • The primary responsibility of a support engineer will be to solve cases of customers through various contact channels, including email, telephone, web/live chat, etc.
  • You will apply various troubleshooting techniques to offer solutions to the customers by thoughtfully working with them to find and resolve the root cause of the problem.
  • As an AWS cloud support intern, you may also need to develop and train, partner with the development team on complex issues, participate in new hiring, write scripts or tools to help teams, and work with leadership to improve the process and strategic initiatives.
  • You will go through various training programs to help you develop the skills needed to be a successful cloud support engineer.

Who should apply?

The internship program is available for January/February – June/July. To apply for this cloud support internship program, the candidates need to meet the following requirements:

  • The eligible candidate should be in the final year of studies in computer engineering, computer science, Information Technology, or other related fields.
  • The internship is available for candidates who need an internship to complete their graduation.
  • The candidate should also have experience with at least one of the following functional scripting languages – Python, Perl, Ruby, or shell scripting.
  • One should also have a working knowledge of the system, network, and OS.
  • Working knowledge of internet fundamentals and cloud computing is preferred.
  • Candidates familiar with Storage, Database, and Big Data concepts will be given preference.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Networks, such as TCP/IP, DNS, switching, routing, LAN/WAN, firewalls, iperf, traceroute, cURL, dig, etc., is an advantage.
  • Candidates who are comfortable working in the Linux/Unix environment may be given preference.
