Operating in Mpumalanga, Barberton Mines forms part of Pan African Resources which has been in operation for over a century. Together with other mining operations under Pan African Resources, Barberton Mines has an output capacity of about 80,000oz of gold annually with an excellent safety record.
Barberton Mines Mining Engineering Internship 2021
Barberton Mines’ Mining Engineering Internship is designed to provide recent graduates to acquire essential skills and extensive exposure from the mining industry. The internship runs for a period of two (2) years.
Who should apply?
In order to qualify for the internship, applicants will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must have a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Achieved at least a 60% passing rate
- Must be physically fit
What is the selection process?
The selection of successful candidates will be done in line with the company’s Employment Equity Plan.
