Operating in Mpumalanga, Barberton Mines forms part of Pan African Resources which has been in operation for over a century. Together with other mining operations under Pan African Resources, Barberton Mines has an output capacity of about 80,000oz of gold annually with an excellent safety record.
Barberton Mines Winding Engine Driver Learnership Programme
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to get hands-on experience within a professional work environment over a period of six months. This is a unique opportunity for the incumbent to acquire skills essential to the mining industry as well as critical business acumen.
Who should apply?
Applicants will need to meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:
- Completed matric (with pure Maths and Physical Sciences
- Holds a Certificate of Competency as an onsetter
- Must have onsetter work experience no lower than three years
- Basic computer proficiency is a definite plus
- Must be physically and medically fit
