Belgotex Process Instrumentation Graduate Programme 2022
The Process Instrumentation Graduate Programme seeks to provide an opportunity to utilize and broaden the successful candidate’s knowledge in Instrumentation and Control Engineering by working with and assisting an experienced team of I&C Engineers and Technicians.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and identify faults on systems using specialized software
- Provide assistance with power distribution designs and specifications to be used in acquiring instrumentation and controls equipment and relevant installation services
- Identify faults on circuit boards
- Work on panel wiring
- Under close supervision, conduct routine aspects of designated projects in line with prescribed procedures
- Assist in processing client-requested data/documents as per client needs and contract terms
- Perform troubleshooting on network and communication systems, PLCs, and execute PLC logic modifications to simplify and standardize similar processes
- Carry out troubleshooting on automated machine controls
- Work on standard drives
- Make sure safety procedures and programmes are adhered to
Who should apply?
You need to meet at least the minimum eligibility criteria and competency/skills requirements of the role to qualify:
- Holds a National Diploma, BTech, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in Instrumentation, or any relevant qualification
- Completed Grade 12 or Matric ( with Math)
- Strong MS Office 365 skills
- Sharp eye for details
- Proactive and results/deadline driven
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- An analytical/critical thinker
- Able to produce quality results even under pressure
- Constantly curious and looking forward to new learning opportunities
