DataProphet Data Science Internship
The successful candidate will be part of a world-class and highly diverse team as they provide solutions with the latest tech transforming industries they operate in. In line with this, the primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop strong data pipelines that derive salient views from raw data
- Label confidential data in-house
- Provide support with infrastructure code base and modelling
- Experiment and discover novel technical and modelling approaches
- Work on instances on the cloud when serving and training deep learning models
This is a paid internship running for a period of 1 month with the possibility of a contract renewal depending on the performance review.
Who should apply?
The Data Science Internship post requires applicants who are:
- Recent graduates with a degree in Process Engineering or any relevant study
- Currently pursuing a PhD or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Advanced Analytics, Mechatronics, or any relevant field
- Knowledgeable in any deep learning frameworks e.g. Keras, TensorFow, Caffe, Pytorch
- Genuinely interested in other modes of machine learning algorithms aside from deep learning
- Capable of resolving new problems by developing custom algorithms
- Adept in software concepts e.g. algorithms and data structures
