Digby Wells SA Bursary Programme 2020

Digby Wells SA has recently opened its application to qualified students for its forthcoming Bursary Programme offering in the 2020 academic year.

Digby Wells Environmentals SA is a multi-disciplinary organization of integrated in-house professionals providing a complete social and environment solutions for the infrastructure and resources industries.

In addition to a significant global footprint and widely recognized local presence, Digby Wells offers an extensive knowledge and expertise of the industry across the base metals and precious metals product spectrum covering some of the top Tier 1 Gold Assets, and the largest international, middle tier, and junior copper mining companies.

Digby Wells SA Bursary Programme 2020

The Digby Wells bursary programme is open to full-time students pursuing their 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of qualification  as well as postgraduate students. This bursary support offers financial support that will cover tuition fees, book fees and a laptop. In addition to higher education funding, the programme also offers a select number of beneficiaries who excel academically and show interest in career towards environmental management.

Bursary support is available to students taking up the following fields of study:

  • BSc in Environmental Sciences
  • BSc in Biology
  • BSc in Geography
  • BSc in Soil Science
  • BSc in Zoology
  • BSC in Aquatic Health
  • BSc in Hydrology
  • BSc in Botany
  • BSc in Hydrogeology

Who should apply?

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to become eligible for consideration for bursary support:

  • Able to demonstrate academic potential
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong passion for outdoor work and making a difference to the environment
  • Obtained at least a 60% grade point average throughout Grade 12 in the following subjects
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Physical Science
