E.V. Adams Scholarship 2022
E.V. Adams Scholarship program is funded by the renowned law firm, Adams & Adams. It was named after the company’s co-founder, Eustace Adams, the scholarship is annually awarded to the students who demonstrate exceptional skills and those to whom the company’s executives believe to be deserving on the basis of their academic performance and financial need.
The goal of this scholarship is to assist students in becoming qualified individuals in law the field during their academic journey.
Adams & Adams invites applications for the E.V. Adams scholarship, for the academic year 2022. Students pursuing the following degrees are eligible to apply for the scholarship:
- LLB
- BCom Law
- BA Law
The firm may occasionally ask applicants to perform vacation work and serve as brand ambassadors on their campuses.
Scholarship Coverage
A candidate will receive a total of R50,000 for their studies through this scholarship. Students who maintain an average score of 75% average are eligible to renew this award annually.
Who should apply?
The E.V. Adams Scholarship is available to all students pursuing LLB Law, BCom Law, and BA Law. The following requirements must also be met by applicants:
- The applicant must be a South African citizen
- The applicant must be studying at an accredited university in South Africa.
- A strong record of academic performance is required
- Must be studying LLB degree/BCom Law/BA Law.
- The first-year student must submit results of their Grade 11 and 12, which indicates that they have a B or higher symbol in English and C or higher symbol in Mathematics since their Grade 11.
- Applicants must demonstrate that they need financial assistance.
- Students at the tertiary level must maintain a consistently high standard of academic performance.
- The scholarship is designed for students who intend to work at the firm as candidate attorneys.
Note: Students who are interested in working at Adams & Adams firm will be eligible for this scholarship.
How do I apply?
Applying for the About E.V. Adams Scholarship is simple. To apply, you must register and fill out the online application at Leap.ly and complete the application there. The following documents must be submitted along with the application:
- Write a motivation letter (Your motivation letter (outlining why you should be granted a scholarship)
- Your updated detailed CV (your full Leap.ly profile)
- Identification Document (certified copy)
- A copy of the matriculation certificate and a copy of the most recent academic transcript on your university’s letterhead.
- Results of grade 11 or 12 (for first-year students)
- For first-year students, proof of registration and a letter of acceptance must be included with the application.

The deadline for this scholarship program is 28 February 2022.
Make sure that your application and all required documentation are submitted by this deadline. In the event you fail to do so, your application will not be considered for selection.
