About Flavius Mareka TVET College
Established in 2000 with the merger of Kroonstad Technical College, Mphohadi College of Education, and Sasolburg Technical College, the College offers both part-time and full-time formal programmes at all its three campuses. The Sasolburg campus specializes in Business Studies and Engineering Studies at its two locations. In its commitment to bringing education and training to communities in the region, Flavius Mareke TVET College offers several learnership, apprenticeship, and skills programmes to residents in the Free State, particularly in smaller towns including Parys, Heilbron, Villiers, and Koppies.
Flavius Mareka TVET Apprenticeship 2022
As a center of specialization for plumbing and electrician trade skills, the College is offering 36-month apprenticeship opportunities in conjunction with several host employers. At the moment, apprenticeship positions are open to qualified plumbers and electricians.
Who should apply?
To qualify for this apprenticeship programme, you need to meet these minimum eligibility requirements:
For the Electrician Apprenticeship:
- Completed Grade 12 (with Physical Science, Mathematics, and Technical subjects
- Holds an N2 Electrical Engineering certification
- NCV Level 4
For the Plumber Apprenticeship
- Completed Grade 12 with Maths Literacy and Technical subjects
- Holds an N2 Civil Engineering and NCV Level 4 certifications
