Ford South Africa: Graduate Trainee Programme 2019 – 2020

Founded in 1923, Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa is a leading manufacturer and distributor of automobiles and spare parts for Ford, Jaguar, Mazda, Volvo and Land Rover brands in the country. It is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company based in Dearborn, Michigan.

Ford South Africa started building Model T cars in a quaint wool shed located in Port Elizabeth. By the early 80s, it operated an engine plant and an assembly plant in Struandale, along with the old Neave assembly plant. When the assembly plants were closed down, all production operations were moved to the Silverton Assembly Plant located in Pretoria.
