Hulamin is calling on interested parties to submit their application for its Engineering and Accounting Bursary Programme offerings for 2021. Eligibility requirements, programme benefits and other key details about this bursary are available below.
Hulamin’s roots date back to the establishment of Aluminum Limited of Canada’s sales office in South Africa in 1935. The company expanded its operations during and at the end of Worl War II when it built its first aluminum rolling factory to meet the high demand for semi-fabricated aluminum.
After a series of mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and expansion efforts, Hulamin Ltd. came into being after an R950 million investment project and when it was unbundled from Tongaat Hulett. After getting listed in the JSE, it made possible the 10% interest acquisition by the Black Empowerment partners.
Today, Hulamin is a prominent aluminum semi-fabricator headquartered in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu-Natal Province. The company manufactures a wide range of aluminum products that are marketed all over the globe.
