Jacaranda FM-Vow Radio Internship 2024
The successful candidate joining the Jacaranda FM-Vow Radio Internship 2024 will be part of a 12-month internship that will take place in Midrand, Gauteng. The internship is aligned with the NQF6 qualification framework made possible in conjunction with the Wits Radio Academy and is sponsored by a Jacaranda FM bursary programme. In addition to playing a crucial role in the daily operations of Jacaranda FM and Vow, the successful candidate can look forward to the following:
- Developing insight in Jacaranda FM’s marketing, technical, programming, and digital departments
- Providing assistance to various aspects of the organization’s operations and gaining practical skills in the process
- Actively engaging in the Voice of Wits’ daily activities particularly in radio marketing, programming, and production
Who should apply?
Applicants must be able to meet the following duties and responsibilities to apply for the role.
- Must at least hold a high school diploma (matric) but applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s qualification/degree have a definite advantage
- Possesses a strong general knowledge base as well as awareness in current affairs
- Knowledgeable with computer applications e.g. spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software
- Outstanding communication skills
- Demonstrated drive and initiative
- Preferably in possession of valid driver’s license
