MMI Industrial Psychology Internship 2019

MMI Holdings is calling on qualified individuals to send in their applications for the company’s Industrial Psychology Internship programme. This internship programme will have the intern experience working with experienced Industrial Psychologists in a financial services company composed of 11 business units and 16,000 employees. This 12-month internship programme aims to provide interns with the chance to make a difference within MMI as well as gain practical working knowledge. Interns will also gain a deeper understanding of Organizational Psychology and Industrial Psychology under the mentorship and supervision of experts in the field of Industrial Psychology.

The MMI Industrial Psychology Internship Programme will provide exposure to the following HPCSA-prescribed areas:

  • Employee wellness and Career Psychology
  • Human Resource/Personnel Psychology
  • Organizational Psychology
  • Psychometrics
  • Ergonomics, Coaching and Professional Ethics (Electives)

Career Options

After the successful completion of the 12-month internship, the intern may be offered permanent employment within MMI Holdings.

Requirements and Eligibility

Listed below are the minimum requirements of MMI Holdings’ Industrial Psychology Internship Programme of 2019:

  • Must have completed a year of master’s degree studies in the field of Industrial Psychology
  • HPCSA-registered as either a student or an intern psychologist (preferred, but not a requirement)
