Mopani’s seat of government is Gyani, and is one of Limpopo’s five districts with a population of 1,159,185 (2016 Community Survey).
Mopani District Municipality Bursary Programme
The Mopani District Municipality Bursary Programme is designed for unemployed students who are in need of financial aid to further their studies in particular fields recognized by the Municipality. People living with disabilities and those from previously disadvantaged groups will be given consideration.
Mopani’s bursary programme is open to recent Grade 12 graduates with Bachelor’s degree admission. More importantly, a provisional admission at a prescribed tertiary education institution must be available for submission.
Who should apply?
To be considered eligible to apply for bursary support, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a recent Grade 12 graduate
- Has a provisional admission at a recognized higher education institution
- Applicants from previously disadvantaged groups and people living with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply
How do I apply?
Applicants who meet the basic requirements and would like to push through with the application will need to submit the following documents:
- Send a comprehensive CV
- Grade 12/Matric results
- Certified true copy of identity documents
- Proof of registration/letter of admission
- Letter of motivation talking about why should the bursary support be awarded to you.
