Mweb Human Resources Internship 2022
The successful candidate will be part of Mweb’s Human Resources team operating at its Cape Town offices. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, it is the main duty of the HR Intern to assist the team with a variety of HR-related functions such as Recruitment and Selection, Remuneration and Benefits, and Organizational Development, among others.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide support with the administration of new hires and terminations
- Ensure accuracy and accessibility of employee records
- Conduct HR’s internal audit of employee records
- Communicate with employees to verify the accuracy of their personnel record
- Create and prepare employee starter packs e.g. welcome/induction kits
- Provide support to the HRNBPs as needed
- Book training and meeting room schedules/venues
- Keep training statistics updated in the database
- Advertise job openings through internal and external channels
- Shortlist applicants
- File training documents
- Facilitate and provide assistance in training classes
- Perform reference checks
