Peninsula Beverages, the sole manufacturer and distributor of Coca-Cola products within the Northern and Western Cape, is calling on dynamic and promising graduates to submit an application and qualify for its Internal Audit Internship for 2021. Established in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town in 1940, Peninsula Beverages is the official manufacturer and distributor of various Coca-Cola products in the Northern and Western Cape regions. The company opened its second plant in Mowbray in 1948 but later moved to Parow Industria which is now its current headquarters.
Peninsula Beverages now employs more than 1,300 employees and has since built another plant in Athlone Industria and a number of distribution depots in Vredendal, Blackheath, Paarl and Worcester.
Peninsula Beverages Internal Audit Internship 2021
In PenBev’s commitment to continuous organizational improvement, it takes in a deserving fresh graduate for a 12-month internship programme. The successful graduate will gain knowledge about the business and industry exposure to develop their skills and knowledge.
The incumbent will become part of the Internal Auditing team and will be providing assistance and services to PenBev’s by providing assurance and advisory by promoting effective governance and sound rick and control management. By performing the delegated duties and responsibilities, the Internal Audit Intern is expected to acquire essential experience in the following areas:
- Various risk management practices
- Effective governance
- Performing audits such as
- Determining risk and control
- Compiling business processes
- Control testing
- Providing reports and applicable remedial action
Who should apply?
Only applications who satisfy the following minimum requirements are eligible for consideration:
- Holds a three (3) year National Diploma, ideally in internal auditing, or any relevant fields
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools
- Must own a valid driver’s license
- Experience in ERP systems is a plus
