Pernod Ricard Data Distillery Support Graduate 2022
The successful candidate will be part of the Data Distillery Team and will primarily be supporting the Data Steward’s daily tasks and projects. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Provide assistance with collecting, cleaning, and compiling data sets
- Conduct quality assurance on data sets with third party agencies
- Help out with the execution of PRSSA tools e.g. data integration for Matrix and Extract
- Work closely with other teams in creating cooperation for key digital platforms
- Cooperate with IT and Data teams in support of key digital programme implementation
- Contribute to data science knowledge
Who should apply?
Only applications that comply with these basic eligibility criteria will be considered:
- Holds a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in the quantitative field acquired from a leading South African university
- Work experience in the quantitative field is a definite plus
- Knowledge in Microsoft Azure, Sequel, Python, or other relevant tools is an advantage
- Must have some background in statics, analytics, predictive modelling, segmentation and clustering, time series analysis, data tools, simulation, text mining, and machine learning
- Highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about learning and growth
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
