Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa Bursary Programme 2020

The Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa, or PSSA, is calling on qualified individuals who are interested in submitting an application to qualify for its postgraduate Bursary Programme offering for 2020.

Established in June, 1855 by seven (7) pharmacists in King Williamston, the Association was to serve as the first South African pharmaceutical society for voluntary members and was initially called the South African Pharmaceutical Association.

Other pharmaceutical societies in different provinces were developed soon after. By January, 1946 these pharmaceutical organizations all joined together to become the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa. The Society is now a very influential mover that seeks to advance the field of pharmacy in South Africa.
