Right to Care Internship 2022

Right to Care, a non-profit organization operating in the healthcare sector, is inviting qualified individuals to join its upcoming Internship Programme for 2022. If you’re interested in applying, be sure to go over the minimum eligibility requirements of the programme before doing so.

 

About Right to Care

Established in South Africa in 2001 to address the public healthcare emergency brought about by the spread of HIV and Aids in South Africa, Right to Care was one of the first to provide HIV treatment to afflicted South Africans. In addition, Right to Care is heavily involved in the prevention, treatment, care, and delivery of services for tuberculosis, Hepatitis C, and sexually transmitted infections while attending to global healthcare emergencies.

Right to Care’s extensive track record in offering technical assistance and direct service delivery enhanced with its various innovations for precision programming has been adapted by other organizations around the world, especially in sub-Saharan Africa.

In line with the organization’s commitment to skills development among the South African youth, Right to Care offers recent graduates the opportunity to acquire substantial work experience as an essential member of a healthcare organization focused on improving people’s lives through responsive, innovative, and quality solutions in the healthcare sector.

Currently, Right to Care is accepting applications for the following internship openings:

Human Resources Internship

Finance  and Accounting Internship

Geographic Information Systems Internship

Computer Secretary Internship

 

Who should apply?

Applicants must be able to satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria of the internship programme being applied for.

Human Resources Internship

  • Holds a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Organizational or Industrial Psychology

Finance and Accounting Internship

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in BComp in Accounting or Finance

Geographic Information Systems Internship

  • Holds a Bachelor’s qualification in Geographic Information Systems

Learning and development Internship

  • Holds a Bachelors degree in any of the following:
    • Human Resources Development or any relevant degree in Training and Development Practices or Occupationally Directed Education

Company Secretary Internship

  • Completed a Company Secretarial Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

 

Who should apply?

Applicants must be able to satisfy the following qualifying criteria:

  • Must have the requisite degree or diploma of the programme being applied for
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • A South African citizen between the age of 18 and 35 with a valid South African ID
  • No derogatory credit and criminal record
  • Have never been employed in any capacity
