SACAA In-service Internship Programme 2019

The SACAA has recently announced openings for its 12-month In-service Internship Programme targeted towards graduates who are not currently employed.

The SACAA is South Africa’s national aviation authority. It’s legal mandate is to oversee civil aviation and govern investigations regarding aviation accidents and incidents. In addition, the SACAA is in charge of regulating, enforcing and promoting civil aviation safety and security. Its headquarters is in Waterfall Park, Midrand Johannesburg.

SACAA In-service Internship Programme

The successful candidate for SACAA’s In-service Internship will be agreeing to a 12-month commitment and will be working in Midrand, Gauteng. Successful applicants are required to undergo security vetting as mandated by the Civil Aviation Act 13 of 2009. In addition, preference will be afforded to candidates who fall under the Employment Equity Plan.

Career Options

The company does not guarantee long term employment at the end of the internship opportunity.

Requirements or Eligibility

To qualify, applicants must be a student of (needs in-service training), or has completed a degree or National Diploma in the following disciplines:

  • Strategic Management
  • Safety Information Management
  • Human Resources
  • Internal Audit
  • Software Development/Information Technology
  • Psychology
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Records Management
  • Risk Management
  • Information Science
  • Research and Knowledge Management
