SACAA Records Management Internship Programme 2019

The South African Civil Aviation Authority, or SACAA, is looking for six (6) qualified individuals to join its Records Management Internship Programme. Read on to find out more.

The SACAA is South Africa’s national aviation authority. It’s legal mandate is to oversee civil aviation and govern investigations regarding aviation accidents and incidents. In addition, the SACAA is in charge of regulating, enforcing and promoting civil aviation safety and security. Its headquarters is in Waterfall Park, Midrand Johannesburg.

SACAA Records Management Internship Programme 2019 – 2020

The SACAA Records Management Internship Programme runs for a period of 12 months at its headquarters in Johannesburg. The successful interns will have an opportunity to obtain experiential learning in the area of Records Management and Administration. The selected interns will also be eligible to a monthly stipend amounting to R7 200, which does not cover travel and accommodation expenses.

All selected candidates will undergo strict security vetting as mandated by the Civil Aviation Act of 2009.

Career Options

The Record Management internship position is under a 12-month contract. The SACAA does not guarantee permanent employment at the end of the internhsip.

Requirements or Eligibility

  • Must hold a Records Management/Administration or Information Management/Administration degree or National Diploma
  • Applicants covered by the Employment Equity policy preferred
  • A South African citizen with valid ID
