Sappi Main Lab Process Trainee 2021
Sappi SA offers thoroughly structured occupational training programmes developed for individuals interested in jump-starting their careers as a process trainee in a multinational company. The learnership programmes allow trainees to experience the best theoretical and practical concepts surrounding the technical aspect of the company’s operation.
The successful candidate will undergo the Training and Development Programme in Ngodwana Mill, particularly within the Pulp and Paper sector. The role reports to the Human Resources Consultant for Learning and Development.
- Undergo section-specific training as required of the position profiles within the allotted period
- Complete a Specific and General Plant induction
- Go through legal training in fulfillment of mill and section requirements
- Maintain an outstanding level of good housekeeping within the workplace
Who should apply?
The ideal candidate must be able to satisfy the programme’s minimum requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Physical Science) or N3 Pulp and Paper
- A National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry is a definite plus
