SERBIA: The World in Serbia Scholarship 2022

About Serbia

The Republic of Serbia is a Southeast European country located in the Balkans. It is a middle-income landlocked nation that’s experiencing rapid economic growth.

The Serbian government is running a scholarship programme called ‘Word in Serbia.’ It invites students from the Non-Aligned Movement members to study in Serbia and complete their education. Non-Aligned Movement is a grouping of 120 nations who formally do not align to any power bloc, nor are they against them. South Africa and Serbia both belong to the Movement.

Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) nominates the candidates from South Africa for the scholarships.
