The South African Nursery Association is calling on suitable students who would be interested in applying for its yearly Bursary Programme for the 2020 academic year.
The South African Nursery Association, or SANA, is a non-stock, non-profit organization established in 1947 to serve as a network platform that will work to represent the green industry and its interests. In addition, it also represents other related associations such as Allied Bulb and Seed Trade Association (ABSTA), Garden Center Association (GCA), Bedding Plant Growers Association (BPGA) and Growers Association. In an effort to ensure a deep talent pool and help deserving South African students, they have recently opened their South African Nursery Association bursary programme for the 2020 academic year.
SANA Bursary Programme 2020
The South African Nursery Association, in conjunction with its member groups, has started accepting applications for its annual SANA Bursary programme. In addition to funding qualified students, it intends to encourage individuals to pursue a meaningful career in what SANA calls the horticulture sector as the “The Green Industry.” Keep in mind that this Bursary Programme does not cover outstanding balances in school. Also, SANA Tom Arnold Bursary fund recipients must remember that registration fees are not covered by the bursary benefits.
