Standard Bank Data Engineering Learnership 2023
As part of the Data and Analytics team, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of Data Leads in the following areas:
- AWS or Azure development
- End-to-end solutions with multiple access patterns
- Exploring data solutions for operational and analytical master data
- Data migration
- Data ingestion, identifying suitable data platforms through analysis
- Platform development
- Execute automation/ML capabilities of Cloud providers
The learneship contract starts on 1 April 2023 and will run for 18 months. Upon successful completion of the learnership, the learner will receive a National Certificate in System Development integrated with Data Engineering skills programmes. Benefits include a monthly stipend of R10000 and a student medical aid.

- Holds a diploma or degree in any technology related-field
- Not holding permanent employment and not currently pursuing any studies
