ArcelorMittal SA Engineering Bursary Program for 2019 School Year
Candidates for ArcellorMitta SA’s engineering bursary initiative are selected at the school level. These students must have successfully finished Grade 12 with school grades that meet or go beyond the university’s requirements. After successfully going through a screening process, the selected candidate will go to a university recognized by ArcellorMitta, not to mention the discipline of study. These recognized disciplines of study include:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Information Technology
Once accepted, ArcelorMitta SA’s bursary programme will cover the following:
- Tuition fees (depending on the university)
- Board and accommodation as well as meals
- Scientific calculator
- Personal computer
- Book expenses

Requirements or Eligibility
- Aspiring bursars must currently be studying in Grade 12 and have received no less than 70% in Grade 11 in Physical Science and Mathematics.
- Must have passed Grade 12 with marks meeting or going above university requirements for admission.
