The Power Group’s CETA Learnership Programme is looking for qualified parties to send in their application before it closes in May.
Founded by Graham Power in 1983, the Power Group is a supplier of roads, turnkey housing, building, civil projects. It operates two major group companies, namely Power Developments and Power Construction.
The Group operates all throughout South Africa. It has regional branches in locations such as Cape Town, Centurion, Namibia and Port Elizabeth.
The Power Group CETA Learnership Programme
In line with the Power Group’s commitment to empowering South African students through various training and education programmes, it offers its Learnership Programme through the Construction Education and Training Authority or CETA.
The company’s Learnership Programme is designed to allow students to work while pursuing a nationally recognized degree. Students pursuing the following fields are eligible to join the learnership programme:
- Construction Survey NQF Level 4
- Construction Road Works NQF Level 3
- Construction Management NQF Level 5
- Construction Supervision NQF Level 4
There is a required order to which the learnerships are to be completed. This will be determined upon reviewing the candidates’ application including the learnership candidates qualify for.
Requirements or Eligibility
To qualify for the Power Group Learnership Programme, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be pursuing a nationally recognized field of study
- Must have at least 60% in Maths and Science
- Must be amenable to the learnership agreement and schedule
- A South African citizen
