The Power Group Bursary Programme 2019 – 2020

The Power Group Bursary Programme is actively searching for qualified individuals to apply for bursary support.

Founded by Graham Power in 1983, the Power Group is a supplier of roads, turnkey housing, building, civil projects. It operates two major group companies, namely Power Developments and Power Construction.

The Group operates all throughout South Africa. It has regional branches in locations such as Cape Town, Centurion, Namibia and Port Elizabeth.

The Power Group Bursary Programme

The primary goal of the bursary programme is to empower students by providing them with education and training related to the construction and building industries. The bursary programme supports current university students, including those in technical universities.

For university students, bursary support is available to those pursuing the following courses:

  • Construction Management
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Civil Engineering
  • Business Commerce
  • Project Management

Student pursuing the following studies at a university of technology may qualify for bursary support:

  • Building Science
  • Civil Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Quantity Surveying

Requirements or Eligibility

Carefully review the minimum requirements of the bursary programme before sending an application:

  • Currently a student in matric or has already completed matric
  • Pursuing or intending to pursue the prescribed field of studies
  • Must pursue or intend to pursue studies in a university or technical university recognized by the programme
  • Must pursue a career in the building, built environment and construction industries
  • Must be a South African citizen
