Toyota SA Bursary Programme 2020 – 2021

Toyota Motors Corporation South Africa is calling on interested parties to come and send in their application for its upcoming Bursary Programme for 2021. Read on to discover more about this opportunity.

As one of the Toyota Motor Corporation’s off-shore facilities, Toyota SA manufactures, assembles, distributes and exports vehicles and spare parts in and outside the country. Its line of commercial and passenger vehicles include coupes, hatches, sedan, SUVs, MPVs, vans and bakkies.

In addition to spare parts and accessories, TMC South Africa also offers insurance and finance products via its dealers operating all over South Africa. TMC South Africa’s headquarters is in Sandton and has been operating as a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation since 4 November 2002.

Toyota Motors South Africa Bursary Programme

The Toyota Motors SA Bursary Programme was established to provide assistance to committed and talented individuals who excel academically and are pursuing any of the following areas of study:


  • Business Math and Informatics
  • Marketing
  • Non-CA Accounting degree and must include Taxation, Accounting,, Auditing and Management Accounting


  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering


  • Information Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Business Science Analytics

Toyota Motors South Africa believes in acquiring the most dedicated and brightest talent through this bursary programme.  In addition to its bursary offering, successful candidates will gain work experience through the company’s vacation work and graduate programmes.

Requirements or Eligibility

Applicants must meet the basic requirements below to qualify:

  • Must have an excellent academic track record
  • Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Must have obtained at least a 75% grade average or English and Math during matric
  • Obtained a general average of at least 75% in tertiary
  • Total household income amounting to R750,000
  • A citizen of South Africa
