Truworths, a brand that is synonymous with quality and aspirational fashion, has a portfolio of some of South Africa’s most wanted garment brands, developed over four decades. In 2017, Truworths generated over R18 billion in revenue and employed more than 11,000 people.

Truworths (PWD STORES Learnerships)
The PWD Stores Learnership Programme provides successful candidates with cross-training so that they can function effectively at both the sales floor and the service desk of a retail outlet. The programme focuses heavily on customer service and stock management. If you wish to achieve success in this position, you should be committed to learning, capable of completing logbooks, and capable of being assessed as a bilingual sales consultant.

You are expected to fulfill a variety of responsibilities as part of the learning programme:
- Complete 120 hours of work
- Developing knowledge and skills
- Be prepared to take a number of assessments
- Provide assistance to customers looking for merchandise
- When merchandising a retail outlet, adhere to the MBP principle
- Manage the POS system, including payments and purchases
- Managing stock losses
- Create a new account
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Provide security and safety to customers

- Eastern Cape
