Truworths Risk Analyst Trainee
As an entry-level position, the Risk Analyst Trainee will be afforded many opportunities for growth and development within the organization. You’ll be a key member of the Risk Analysis team based in Truworths’ Cape Town offices.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform investigations on data integrity concerns, test assumptions, and validate the accuracy of analytical results
- Conduct thorough analysis of strategy changes and determine the effects on account management and various areas of applications
- Present concepts/ideas using presentations or reports highlighting findings, and suggest recommendations
- Utilize statistical techniques in projecting and implementing strategies
- Manage the impact of implemented strategies in live systems
- Establish predictive models for maximizing profit during decision-making
Who should apply?
You need to satisfy the following minimum eligibility requirements to apply:
- Holds a degree BSci, BBus Science, BCom Investment, or Actuarial Science
- Must possess strong numeracy and accounting skills
- Holds an outstanding academic record
- Solid skills in analyzing and utilizing data with data analysis tools e.g. SQL or SAS that allows complex modelling or forecasting, knowledge in predictive analytics e.g. decision trees, scoreboard building, clustering, and more
- An agile learner; able to understand new technology without the need for full training
