The Volkswagen Group in South Africa is a subsidiary wholly owned by Volkswagen Aktiengessellshaft, or VWAG, and was established 1946. In addition to being the largest investment made by Germany in South Africa, it is an important contributor to direct foreign investments, skills development and technology transfer in the country today. Volkswagen SA’s facility is in the industrial town of Uitenhage which is about 35 km away from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.
Volkswagen SA Human Resources Graduate Programme
Volkswagen SA’s Graduate Trainee Programmes are designed for dedicated and driven individuals who are capable of excellent communication skills, exceptionally good academic performance and leadership potential. The successful intern will go through an 11-month training programme which includes On-the-Job Leadership Development and Personal Development with the goal to build a solid career foundation.
Upon successful completion of this 11-month graduate programme, the participants may be offered a permanent position within the company.
Requirements or Eligibility
Candidates must meet the programme’s minimum qualification in order to be considered for the position:
- Must have a University degree or relevant National Diploma in Organizational
- Above average academic performance
- With the capacity to lead
- Has a can-do, positive outlook
- Dedicated to quality output
- High ethical standards
